In a video recorded for something called Caucus4Priorities - that calls itself “the most valuable progressive organization” - Obama bizarrely proposes what amounts to a unilateral disarmament and surrender proclamation, and among other things, bizarrely promises to:

· end “misguided defense policies” and stand with Caucus4Priorities in fighting special interests in Washington;

· cut tens of billions of dollars in ‘wasteful’ military spending.

· cut investments in unproven missile defense systems.

· I will not weaponize space;

· “I will slow our development of future combat systems.”

The video is provoking widespread glee among America’s enemies around the world. For instance, last week Iran told Japan to prepare for a world without the USA based in part on these and other Obama comments that have pushed Israel and others to prepare to reconsider alliances with the U. S., and in Israel’s case to reportedly advance plans to attack Iran’s nuclear bomb making facilities before an Obama presidency can begin.

Statements on the video are raising grave issues among military analysts, planners and allies who say it exceeds being the most naively Pollyannaish, endangering and compromising national security while encouraging America’s enemies. Some say Obama will be the second coming of Jimmy Carter who unilaterally permitted the Iranian theocracy to arise but with a Rodney King foreign policy.
