DAYS OF INFAMY - book review

Newt Gingrich’s latest book, DAYS OF INFAMY is a historic novel based on what might have happened had the Imperial Japanese Navy launched a third attack on Pearl Harbor on Sunday, December 7th and pressed its advantages. It is dramatic with Japanese battleships bombarding Oahu early on Monday December 8th met with a suicidal attack by few surviving U. S. Navy warships. The book builds to its crescendo in the epic what-if as American and Japanese carriers clash in Hawaiian water.
The book is typical of Gingrich in its detailed research and his ability to bring historic events alive and make them interesting. For everyone with interest in contemporary history and all those who listened to parents, Grandparents, aunts and uncles spin their yarns about World War II this book is worth your money and your time to read,
