Epimenides was the king of Crete, a nation of fabulous liars. When asked by the Greeks if it were true, he responded ,“All Cretans are liars”—creating the famous “Epimenides Paradox“.

I have inserted a Novosti news clip allegedly from a Russian cameraman claiming CNN, the Epimenides of news, lied about the location of a news video clip. It appears Tsinhvali in South Ossetia was misidentified as Gori Georgia during a bombing. What is disingenuos is that although true, the misidentification was a slip and not a deliberate CNN lie [unlike their deal with Saddam in 1991].
