Who talks and does not talk to who?

Trust the Chief Hypocrite to get you your way!Bush and McCain say that we can not talk to enemies such as Hamas because they can not be trusted and we would only legitimize them. So how did they convince Qaddafi to give up WMD?

Obama, defensively, says he will never talk to terrorists.

These are both examples of HS (hypocritical version of more well known BS). Some say it is impossible to be a successful presidential candidate or a president without a little HS around to be found or stepped on.

The Bush Admin has already been talking to most of our “enemies” through surrogates which is a time honored technique all administrations have used, when they judge that talking directly might create unintended consequences. Undesirable consequences could include premature release of trade offs being discussed, scaring one side or the other due to adverse publicity and causing negotiations to break down.

Also significantly, the side that has less international standing gets a huge boost in standing (and re-electability) internationally and domestically when “recognized” in direct and open negotiations. Hey, I didn’t invent this stuff.

Barack brags about being the only presidential candidate who is willing to meet with Iran’s leaders without preconditions. That makes him very popular with countries like Iran, who are big supporters of terrorism. But no doubt, the right kind of “negotiations” are pretty important as there are significant issues on the table that will affect our security and ironically time favors the weaker side.

Chief Channeling is betterBy the way, even though Bush takes credit for Libya giving up WMD, it was really Qaddafi who decided that to continue his pariah status was not in his best interest (he needed Big Oil to come in and exploit his oil resources) and he contacted the Bush Admin with a form of a white flag. It’s actually a win for a multi party policy of not talking.

But who really believes he has no interest or temporarily dormant plans to pursue the power that hideous destructive power confers? If Korea and Syria could build at least an early stage plant in the dessert close to Israel and many US intelligence assers, what could be accomplished in the desert in North Africa?

Some believe it is clearer every day, that it may take the Chief Hypocrite to Channel these difficult conversations (direct and indirect ones) so that he like the other politicos can deny talking with terrorists.

Pst… to both the Obama, McCain campaigns, I can probably conduct these secret, plausibly deniable Channeling Conversations as VP. And no, I would never have sucked up to Hitler, as Channeling finesses the issue.

Check out some of my other little known “interviews” such as my first one with the Big Guy himself, somewhere on this site. BYW, no other VP candidate has these capabilities. And superdelegates from any state but Michigan and Florida can be selected as VP, as long as Howard Dean does not find out.

Trust the Chief Hypocrite to get you your way!

Hillary to the Supreme Court!

The Supremes will singOnly if necessary.

It Hillary loses the nomination in Denver in August 2008 to Obama and the delegate count from Michigan and Florida would have given her the win, you can believe it that it will be Democrat vs Democrat in court, possible all the way to the Supreme Court. Bush v Gore only more gore.

Florida Republican’s Boycott Today’s Primary in Sympathy With Democrats

Kum ba yaIn a rare show of unity between parties, it appears that local politics is stronger than national parties and are refusing to vote since the Democrats Delegates will not count in Denver, CO at the national convention this August. Sort of gives me goosebumps.

While some are going to the polling booths according to the New York T imes, some reports indicate that those who are too embarrassed to show unity with the Democrats in public by boycotting publicly, many are going in and in the privacy of the booth are refusing to Punch The Chad.

Mike, Arnold, It Takes a Constititutional Amendment

Do we need another Amendment?

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger grace this week’s Time magazine cover, and on Tuesday the two “joked” about forming a presidential ticket. Bloomberg’s was very palsy-walsy with California’s Governor Schwarzenegger as he ripped Washington for various sins. Maybe that explains Arnold’s flip-flop telling the press he refuses to endorse anyone on the eve of the California February 5th primary. Schwarzenegger is term limited. Rumor was he had been eyeing Senator Barbara Boxer’s seat if she does not run for reelection in 2010 but she has announced she will run and she remains very popular so that’s off the table.

Michican Dems Divided in Myrtle Beach Debates Jan 21, 2008

Myrtle Beach? It started out as as an Irish slug fest between Hillary and Bill, and Barack, who complained about also having to compete with the previous president who was joining his wife in misinforming voters about Baracks history. They each landed political punches, he said while he was helping the poor in Chicago she was sitting pretty (my words) on the Board of Directors at WalMart Corporations. She said while she was fighting against the policies of Ronald Reagan he was helping his slum lord in Chicago.

Which Candidate Can Prove The Most CHANGE?

More happens than you knowPicture this: The six leading candidates in both parties getting together, pitching their spare change into one of those games where you use a crane controlled from outside the glass enclosure in order to get coins to drop out into a tray. It’s popular at many family restaurants in parts of the country. Dreamy isn’t it. Bipartisan agreement.

Hillary Understands How the West Was Won

Drum by DrumHillary overcame the casino workers endorsement of Obama in Nevada, to secure a real but not overwhelming win. Her voice was strained but she is definitely on a roll in and after the casino state.

After the Clinton and Obama first tier win in Nevada, the other tier of Edwards, Uncommitted and Kucinich picked up a few votes, but the Democratic race is narrowing to Clinton and Obama, with the odds in favor of Hillary and the Clinton machine.

Despite that, the recent political incorrectness over Martin Luther King may be a long shadow on the rivalry to play out next week in the Dem Primaries in South Carolina, then Florida and of course followed by Super Tuesday states.

Non candidates are observing carefully, looking for an opening. Chief amongst them is our very own Chief Hypocrite who is one of the less well know candidates feeling the pull of the disenchanted. The Chief, however, is most worried when he notices that Bill Clinton continues to show enthusiastic support for the “best candidate he (Bill) has ever known”. Even the Chief has limitations.

Romney Romps in Michigan: New Competiton?

My Mitt & ApronThree Republican Primaries, three different winners.

Iowa put Evangelical Huckabee in the spotlight contrary to national polls,

Michigan Needs Jobs-Check with Michael Moore he has jobs

New Hampshire showcased the McCain staying power,

Michigan saved Mitt in his birth state where his father was a governor.

It also gave new meaning to the “Mitt State” promoted by multi talented Jeff Daniels who has been promoting his home state of Michigan on national television recently, detailing what a good state it is for business and referring to the mitt of Michigan
