You don't know me, don't pretend to. You don't know if I'm gay, straight, or the most outlandish pervert on the planet. You can't tell my religious beliefs by what I say and that's the way I intend it. Don't be hypocritical, hubristic, or presumptuous. Listen to what I say only for the merit of my opinion, for what I say is based on intellect, education and empirical evaluation. It's an opinion, something that's entitled to all.

Simply Another Rant

God I’m tired of getting on these rants, but sometimes I just can’t help myself. I haven’t written on this site in quite awhile and it’s for a simple reason; obama-gives-finger
there’s nothing good to say about our government, society, or the state of our nation’s moral conduct. I’m disgruntled, misanthropic, and feel down right
insulted by the umbrage our government throws in our faces. They treat us as though we are serfs, idiots, unable to think or provide for ourselves.
But anyway, who wants to hear me drone on about the profligacy of our government, therefore, let me tell you what I came here to say.

It’s come to light that the Obama’s threw a costume party back in 2009, but didn’t want it to go public because of the recession and what the proletariat might think if they saw such a swanky, high-profile, celebrity packed venue of a party thrown. It was so swanky and so cosmopolitan that George Lucas even loaned out the original Chewbacca costume to one of the guests. OMG!

But did they really intend to cover it up? Well, White House spokesman Eric Schultz didn’t think so. Quoth Eric: “If we wanted this event to be a secret we probably wouldn’t have invited the press corps to cover it, release photos of it to Flickr, or post a video from it on the White House website.” Hmm, I didn’t hear about it, and I listen to, or watch, the news at least once a day. Did you?

Anyway, in her new book The Obamas author Jodi Kantor said the White House was very concerned about the manner in which the costume party might affect the public’s perception of the Obamas. Given the state of the economy at the time and how splashy and Hollywoodesque the party would look to many jobless Americans. You think?
However, considering all that, Jodi Kantor’s book might still prove to be a good read. That is, giving Eric Schultz’ commentary. “The emotions, thoughts and private moments described in the book, though often seemingly ascribed to the president and first lady, reflect little more than the author’s own thoughts. These second-hand accounts are staples of every administration in modern political history and often exaggerated.”

Seems like a cop-out to me, but nonetheless, according to her book, Kantor implies Michelle Obama had an intense distrust of Rahm Emanuel, now the mayor of Chicago. Kantor wrote: “Michelle and Rahm Emanuel had almost no bond; their relationship was distant and awkward from the very beginning.”

She also noted that Valerie Jarrett had many nasty spats with Emanuel as well. Especially after he tried to put an embargo on her activities because he saw her as a spy for the first lady.
The book intimated Michelle as always wanting to influence policy making, but sources reported by Fox News said Kantor had the opposite view during an interview with a Chicago magazine. How do we ever know the truth? Never could find that information. However, David Axelrod was quoted as saying, “when she thinks things have been mishandled or when things are off the track…well, she’ll raise it. Because she’s hugely invested in him.” [The President]

So, what am I getting at here you wonder. Dare I say it? Oh, what the hell. I think we all thought that Obama, as a black man, would do wonders for the average man, Joe on the street, the proletariat. Why? Because he’s black. We thought he understood what it meant to be part of the common folk, the working man, struggling to get what we can out of life. Well, guess what he’s a traitor. If what’s mentioned above has any truth to it at all it illustrates the Obamas are the same as all the other plutocrats; willing to live off the backs of the common man by way of kleptocracy in order to plunder and live the extravagant lifestyle of aristocracy.

Obama is no black man, no average Joe, he’s merely another individual who was once a community activist that eventually rose to the prominence of presidency. Not to free the plebeians from bondage, but to enjoy the luxuries of the stiff- collard, white politicians he so wanted to emulate. He’s simply another unctuous demagogue who panders in order to relish in his lavish vacations, parties, golf ventures, and all perk paid trips to where ever he and his pompous wife feel they deserve to go. He has finally risen to what he and Michelle always dreamed they should have, arranged off the graft of us all. He is no leader, no healer, no sage who has the answers to our woes.

Our president is doing nothing but driving us further towards perdition in order to accomplish the joys of heaven for himself and his family. What president has ever enjoyed, or flaunted, such a lifestyle as this? In such stressful economic times as these? Does this man really have the qualities of a leader? A President? I’m sorry to be so draconian, but look at it, see it, question it, and ask yourself as you struggle – should anyone enjoy such glamour and splendor as this particular president and his wife enjoy? Verily, who are the 1%?
