My title as Chief of all Hypocrites was earned the old fashioned way. Some think Mr and Mrs Hypocrite just named me Chief, but not so.

Albert Maignan's "Green Muse" (1895): A poet succumbs to the Green Fairy.

Obama and other Political Anti Carbonites prefer their Green Fairy, a fantasy which could indeed follow as the science improves, but will not lead.

Google seems replete with right and leftist skulking toward nuclear energy as a component, maybe even a big one of our rumored Green Energy Economy.

Paul Krugman is not among those, preferring to incite and spread political barriers rather than look for workable solutions. Seemingly from his recent column, he is on course to concluding that humans create more pollution than good in our society. Just like industries. He should be saying right on to my subsidy recommendations that follow.

Hopefully, no nuclear companies will get too much government support. Might jinx the whole green road to uranium USA.

Wait, there is a lot of that in the US. Might even be American jobs growth in that much maligned sector someday.

But ya gotta dig it. Can ya dig it?

Political choices have already demonized our source of strength and cozy warmness on cool nights. So many want to bury ground based energy further than it already is.

The world’s ground based energy sectors, modern versions basically invented in the US, are sufficient in the US to render foreign sabotage/threats/strikes etc more neutral than most believe.

Pure of heart Anti Carbonites dream of forcing a utopian vision on our current grounded economy by political force and demonizing those who now keep us moving from one comfortable place to another.

Peak oil has passed except in the minds of such political utopians and we now have more carbon sources than we need, were they all exploited for use rather than for politics.

So here is an industry segment the government should subsidize, for national security and to create real jobs without having to play fantasy games any more.

Allocate more of our government research moneys to basic science with a hopeful eye to learning how to use nano tubes, their cousins and uncles and aunts in the job of cleaning the unwanted results of harnessing energy from the ground.

Why can nano tech keep your clothes from wrinkling but not catch and or clean up carbon emissions after energy is created and before exhaust is released into the air?

Presenting, MyMightyTinyNanos brand Filtration In Series premier products which are scaled to deliver the necessary scrubbing of carbon exhausts based on what the customer/public/government/politico industrial complex desires or mandates.

Cleaner is  more  expensive.  Maybe exhaust can be cleaned enough to be put directly back into the air.

Maybe the Level 1 Nanoed Carbon will need to be sequestrated into the ground, something nature has been doing for maybe millenia.

With basic science advances to exploit (sorry, bad word), investors will take giant risks without government backing to deliver this science to the public marketplace. They might get rich doing it. Bad, bad, all of them.

Too many  questions, too few billions for something both the market place and the jobs market want.

Obama and other Political Anti Carbonites prefer their Green Fairy, a fantasy which could follow, but will not lead.

They prefer various F bombs, like No Fracking, No Filtration, No Fraternizing with carbon. Maybe Nanoed Fracking Fluid will be treated one day.
