Capitalism and Socialism

We have come to a crossroad, a juncture of where we, the people of this great nation, want our country to go. There has been a war brewing for almost a century in America. It started as a tepid simmer and has now grown into a raging inferno. I have spoken about it, written about it, and acted upon it for several years now. We need to decide what we want our country to stand for, not merely for ourselves, but for the future generations of America – our children, grandchildren, and posterity. What am I talking about you wonder? Simply this; the struggle between capitalism and socialism.
This country was founded on capitalism. Its people fought for it, bled for it, and died for it. But since the turn of the 20th century we have had socialism slowly creeping in, indoctrinating our nation with the notion of nannyism. A notion that all peoples should be equal. It goes with the idea that many hold, an idea that children shouldn’t keep score in games because it makes one “feel bad.” It coddles, as we see those do who believe a child should wear a helmet, gloves, knee pads and chest shield to ride a tricycle on the sidewalk.
Life is not equal, no matter what anyone tells you. It’s Darwinism at its best. The strongest, fittest, and most adaptable will rise to the top. If you’re not gifted, practice more. If you’re not the smartest, figure out a way to make what you do have work better. Don’t sit back on your laurels and expect, or demand, that others should have less. Or that you somehow deserve to get some of what they have. Capitalism forces competition, and competition forces people to do better in life. Conversely, socialism takes it all away, from the capable as well as those who want something without putting in any exchange .
History shows socialism first reared its ugly head in America with the likes of Woodrow Wilson; leader of the Progressive Party. Then, socialism had its sharpened talons and foul breath momentarily clipped and cloistered during the 20’s by Harding and Coolidge. It was only given a roaring resurgence in the mid-thirties by the true socialist — Franklin Delano Roosevelt.
Don’t misunderstand me though, I know a little socialism holds capitalism in check ¾ and should. Why do I say this? Because if we were a nation of pure capitalists the uber-wealthy could and would continually suppress the proletariat. We would virtually have slave labor, with laborers only getting bare necessities to live and work. In his book Das Kapital Karl Marx explains how he planned to destroy capitalism by introducing the economic philosophy of communism. Communism being the final step into the bowels of hell.
One hundred percent capitalism surely isn’t good, but one hundred percent socialism is even worse. As the benefits of capitalism far outweigh those of socialism, and the tenets of socialism are vastly more abject than that of capitalism. So, what do we have here then? A small blend of socialism into capitalism would work well. Unfortunately our government, at the behest of its puppet masters, has borrowed far too heavily from Karl Marx in order to form a new and more modern socialism. Now our country may not long survive.
Socialism throws out all the middlemen and simply makes the final step from capitalism, seizing everything in the country and redistributing it to the people as the state sees fit. How does socialism fight capitalism? By superseding it and becoming the super- capitalist. Socialism comes in different colors as well, such as the Progressive Movement, Socialist Party of America, Democratic Party, et al. It is the tool of the rich and powerful to seize everything in sight, pay little or no wages to workers, and ultimately control every aspect of one’s life. Socialism isn’t an opponent of capitalism, not really, it’s the conclusion.
All of the economic isms are meant to suppress people. As far back as Feudalism man has been suppressed by the rich and powerful. And the isms ¾ Marxism, communism, socialism, fascism, totalitarianism, and yes, even capitalism ¾ have only one ultimate goal; a policy of government by the few for the few, and the oppression of the many. These systems hold one thing in common; the doctrine that government is a device for the exploitation of the masses by a dominant class. Which even capitalism will inevitably become a dictatorship for the proletariat.
Capitalism has little to offer the worker, the common man. He will never get enough cash to loan to others and therefore make interest off it in order to retire. Capitalism is a system of making money, and then making money off your money in order to get rich. Banks do it, industry does it, markets do it, even private citizens do it. It is a system of lending money to the more industrious people. It’s called “capital investment.” It’s a system of wealth without any active participation on the part of the players. It’s the business of those affiliated with Wall Street, banks, mortgage companies, and even conglomerates like GE. Do you think people like John Kerry, although he touts equality and opines how he cares so much about the common man, don’t practice capitalism? And don’t forget, he’s a full blown Democrat, however, he’s made millions through his affiliation with the Heinz family. Which by the way is a name that goes way back to the dark ages of German suppression. I’m almost certain some of those suppressive ideologies could have been passed down through the generations. He is also a member of another group, a group that gets to decide incentives and structure of how the wealthy get and stay wealthy. It’s called Congress, part of our government.
We have seen the protests and rallies of the Tea Party in an attempt to get our government to reel in its onerous spending and adopt fiscal conservatism. We are currently witnessing the wild public disorder and tumultuous protests of those on Wall Street spreading to other cities across the nation in order to swing the pendulum from capitalism to socialism. Here we have two opposing views, two opposing groups that are seeking the support of a government in order to achieve their goals. Capitalism on one side and socialism on the other. But unbeknownst to them they are both working towards the same solitary goal of governments ¾ the suppression of the masses in order to extend the control of the few.
There never has been and never will be a political philosophy that can solve economic problems, they are entirely two different fields. When Karl Marx tried so desperately to marry the two he put a tool in the hands of evil men to further suppress the masses. Governments cannot solve our economic woes, nor can they legislate morality or moral issues. It is out of their purview.
When you hear the phrase “class warfare” in the media, they’re not talking about the haves and the have nots. They’re not pitting business and industry against the people. They are referencing industry and economics used as tools to enslave the people. It’s an unspoken war between socialism and capitalism and each side is using our system of government to further their goal.
If one were to be economically enlightened he would be able to search out and expose those who profit from the economic ignorance of others. Those who suppress and whose sole importance is their ability to control other human beings. Our nation is in the grips of madmen planning a conquest of our citizens by the “too complicated to understand” theory of economics. Political economics has been a contrivance developed and purported by evil men to do evil things to the masses. It has been obfuscated in order to lift themselves higher in the caste. The time of passé economic governing needs to come to an end. Who and what we are fighting are those who see their stars beginning to fade as the masses understand the tools they use to suppress them – economics and politics.
What is wrong with a society where the pretense of economics by government is accepted as authority? What type of peoples holds this as sooth regardless of all the opposing facts? An ill-informed and somewhat economically ignorant society. But nonetheless, this is how we accept our government. A government that would love to have the comprehension of economics outlawed before all their ribboned caskets of deception, misinformation, and suppression are discredited and revealed. It’s a simple message; those who know the subject of economics thoroughly, survive better in life.
So, what’s my point here? Well, my best answer would be to have no state. But since that’s highly quixotic and quite chimerical, and since we have only a two party system in this country, I suggest those of you who vote decide which way you want your future to unfold, and then go out and act on it. Go vote. I’ll let you determine which side will take us in what direction.

The problem is not Capitalist.. The problem is not Socialists..
The problem is the constant 24/7 365 day a year bombardment of things that are unimportant to our lives.
We as a people have and are losing focus in record numbers of what is really important in our lives.
People are incurring Crushing Debt, and Corporations are making the biggest profits in history.
Lets explore what might be leading to this Crushing Debt.
We are all humans are we not? we generally want the same things, shiny things catch our eye, fancy smells fill our brains, the latest fashions drive our desires.. etc… What follows is my interpretation of whats really wrong and why we are in so much debt and why corporations are making so much money. And why it seems that Capitalism in its current state has bred worldwide resentment.
Corporations, all of which have Massive Multi Million/Billion Marketing Departments have become Masters of the Human condition. They have charts, focus studies, groups, percentages, records, purchase history etc.. and spend billions of dollars yearly to capture an audience and buy your information. ” Every time you swipe your ” I.E Vons Club Card ” at the grocery store what do you think they are doing with that information? they are using it and everything you buy to “predict” the next market change etc.. It is this kind of predatory view on human beings that in my eyes is damaging the relationship between Capitalism and a healthy society.. People are becoming more aware that corporations see them as a number, something to track and make a profit off of. This is not very far off. I personally things its time for Corporations to give back.. There needs to be a separation of People and Business.. Just like there was Between Church and State. People used the Church to control the state. And now business is being used to control the people.
Bottom line. We as a collective whole need to stop purchasing what we dont need, And save for what REALLY matters.
45 years ago if you had 60$ and nothing to spend it on, your more apt to save it to buy your house your REAL property. Now if you have 60$ its burning a hole in your pocket so big you cant wait to spend it. And corporations make no secret that they cant WAIT to have that 60$ Advertising, Media, Marketing Departments are competing in RECORD numbers for your dollars.. and Believe me.. Its working. They have mastered the human condition. It is up to US as a whole to REALIZE what is important and not just give our money away for things that really dont matter.
Also, the sooner people realize that the credit system is designed only to make a small percentage of the population rich, the better off we will all be.
DO NOT USE CREDIT. CREDIT = SLAVERY
DO IT THE OLD FASHIONED WAY. SAVE YOUR MONEY. STOP SPENDING ON WORTHLESS PRODUCTS THAT ARE HERE TODAY AND GONE TOMORROW.

Lt., although I agree with your premise I believe what you are refering to is simply a by-product of what I am speaking about. It is an ancillary position to the struggle between capitalism and socialism. If you notice, that struggle has been going on for a century, and what you are intimating is merely a couple decades into exixtence. Yes, even in the housing debacle the ultimate responsibility lies with the throng that took out loans that they really had no way of repaying. But the preponderant issue even with that has to be attributed to the government for making lending institutions give these people loans under onerous and draconian laws.
