I got my free sandwich yesterday before the snow fell overnight on the Occupy Denver, ‘Cause New York is too far away protests across from the state capital and city and county buildings in Denver, CO.

“It’s food for everybody. We’re not just socialists or democrats or anarchists. What better way for people to come together than around food?” said Pat Marsden.

The new movement, which has spread from Manhattan to other cities, has “a lot in common with the Tea Party,” Vice President Joe Biden said, speaking across town at a forum sponsored by The Atlantic magazine. Both, he said, grew out of a profound sense that the political system was badly out of whack.

“We were bailing out the big guys” in the financial community, he said, while failing to fix the problems of hard-pressed, ordinary Americans.

No joke Joe. Why is that? Oh, yeah it’s Bush’s fault. Why did Obama duck the question?

Corporate greed: like pornography, you know it when you see it, but no one, no one, will define it.

How much pleasure should we have and who should set the limits on our (human) right to pursuit of happiness granted by the Constitution. No one knows, but many partisans think only corporations should be limited.

They and their organizations are the only ones the Constitution allows to be greedy…

Seems they share my sincere appreciation, respect and reverence for secular Steve Jobs, despite his legendary irascibility and unwillingness to conspicuously “do good” with his wealth as is demanded of most wealthy types.

Cool matters irreverently in our society and like good looks, let’s those who seem to have it get more with less criticism. Darn my luck, but a Jobs Apple get’s a pass from the protesters.

Take this bite out of the apple as gospel. What the protesters truly have smack on: Corporations Are Not People!

Nor are unions, non profits and various xyz123(b-78) congressionally authorized groups routinely created by over paid over politicized professional politicians who do not get the big picture.

These are fictitious entities of all kinds who have acquired long ago the right to free speech and expression meant for the people, not their special interest groups. T

Today free speech and expression has degenerated into who can aggregate and who can donate  money to elect a politician or pass a bill with incredible  intellectually dishonest advertizing by all parties.

Dehumanize all of them! POWER ONLY TO PEOPLE!

A constitutionally and human right supportive new bill which will never be considered let alone ever to be passed, could correct this simply by allow only citizen to donate, spend hir money (gender neutral for his or her) on any political campaign for any political purpose or pursuit. Business and social groups should encourage individuals to act and to vote, not to effectively steal the “vote” with collected money.

There are two rules:

  1. Your name and amount of any unlimited donation is published in the congressional record immediately
  2. It must by in your name, not that of a fictitious entity and is not deductible.
  3. Ok, that is more than one rule.

Your HYPOCRISY IS SHOWING when you only want to defang some non humans such as corporations, greedy or not.

Defang them all. Only US Citizens should have the right to free speech and free expression.

BTW, the image above right is the Free Speech Zone Created by the Democratic Mayor for 2004 Democratic Convention in Denver, nominating Kerry and Party Faithful John Edwards. Separately, protestors were arrested and the city claimed a victory when they only had to pay aobut $200,000 out of pocket to make it go away.
