Treatise on “Why do we have cell phone disruption while driving?

Here is the deal.

“Cell phone towers are like men”.

I explained this yesterday to my wife and a gathering of her lady friends, after one of them recounted some strange service disruption while driving.

I said:

“Their functional purpose is each the same but they each operate a little differently”.

Each woman giggled and gave nods of acknowledgement.

Later that evening at the cigar bar with a few male acquaintances, I said

“cell phone towers are like women. Their functional purpose is the same but they each operate a little differently”.

Each man winked at the others and said

******* * *******.

The Republicans in each group of only women and only men, said that was

because of over regulation requiring compliance with crappy rules rather than letting the market, through consumer satisfaction and choice, to tell cell phone companies about adequacy of tower function.

The Democrats in each group of only women and only men said that was

because the FCC has inadequately regulated the greedy cell phone companies, which is a violation of our civil rights.
