Julius Caesar: “We at the height are ready to decline”

There is a tide in the affairs of men
Which taken at the flood leads on to fortune;
Omitted, all the voyage of their life
Is bound in shallows and in miseries.
On such a full sea are we now afloat,
And we must take the current when it serves,
Or lose our ventures.
A shameless parody from The Chief Hypocrite:
There is a D.C. tide in the affairs of the United States
Which taken after the financial meltdown of 08 leads to sustainability;
Omitted, during the battle of the fate of bigger government vs free will of economic growth
All the best hopes for humanity slides beneath good but naive intentions.
For here we are today, muddled between difficult poles,
And we must take the current when it serves,
Or fail to feed the masses due to bounty lost.
