Obama Job Approval Rating After One Year

Only 25% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-three percent (43%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -18.
Overall, just 45% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President’s performance. Fifty-four percent (54%) disapprove.
As the chart shows the long annual trend for 2009 until now has been and continues to be down.
Forty-five percent (45%) say a group randomly selected from the phone book would do a better job than the current Congress.
