Capacious Race Baiting by Jimmy Carter, Bodacious!

Besides disapproving of the way the Israelis have chosen to defend themselves against those who have sworn and reswear to destroy Israeli, it also seems Carter does not approve of any Republican strongly expressing their lack of trust in our Chief Executive and behaving badly while doing it. Between his Republican sightings and his many personally lead good works here and abroad, he must not have enough time leftover to to even pretend in public to express similar opinions about similar and equally ubiquitous and unseemly behavior of and by his Democratic party.

Selective silence, well that is hypocritical no matter who practices it; maybe the broadest of brushes possible in the public and media arena.

Capacious bags of race baiting any Republican who steps out or on it, and it’s omnipresent companion of silence for all those many who prosper promoting the major tenant of the Race Baiting Industry; that Whitey (unless a Democrat) is always bad, and non Whitey is always suppressed by Whitey.  Even when they disagree on policy matters.

The Race Baiting Industry in a few decades, has already given a run for the money to the damage done by centuries of historical racism and inhumanity. That of course must include consideration of all parties such as the blacks who sold their brothers to whites who wanted cheap labor for their agriculture.

No implication here from me that any kind of racism is dead; far, far from it. In fact, more accurately, based only on my subjective opinion of my observations everywhere I’ve been, racism capaciously exists both in the hearts of the race baiters and the baited.

Like other seemingly less desirable human attributes, fear, hate, rage, racism et al, racism indeed is an attribute of humanity, manifested at one extreme by murder due to race hate and at the other extreme by snide jokes told only in the presence of mostly blacks or mostly whites and naturally making fun of the other.

One wrinkle I’d like to share: I once heard a racial joke about the offspring of a Black and an Hispanic who seemingly was too lazy to steal from whitey. The Hispanic who told this in a mixed group thought it was pretty funny, while the rest of us sort of had an uncomfortable “Dumb and Dumber” moment.

Barack Obama was born to a white woman with seemingly stable, albeit maybe boring grandparents, and a black father who like his mother and many of us living today, including me, who had trouble establishing and maintaining a physically and emotionally close knit nuclear family. A loss I swear we are the lesser for.

Barack is thus half White and half Black by both our historical and modern Faux Race social segregation practices poorly served and confused with confusing and conflicting politically motivated laws and regulations. Most interestinly, these Faux Racial distinctions were institutionalized in our Constitution, the Census and modern Affirmative Actions.

Most unfortunately these Faux Racial distinctions are politicized by the baiters and the baited and the elected, too much of the time almost everywhere, cementing these unnecessary divides in most everyone’s mind. The Race Baiting Industry greedily perpetuates this.

Obama, like George Bush after 9/11 before him had an historic opportunity to bring us together. Both failed early in their first administration.

Bush failed partly due to his imperfect English, a bad combination with the many unavoidable mistakes in responding after 9/11, American deaths and terribly high financial costs. That is all clear in hindsight, not so in our vastly changed psyche on 9/11. His fear for his family and for all of us combined with his ideologies and advisers, working in a new minefield without good humit and also without a functioning media or loyal opposition who by the why were all scared shirtless at the time too.

Barack has already failed by falling victim to his now blinded personal choice of racial and ideological biases. And all this despite his Bush like “uniter not a divider” type of rhetoric about post partisanship, post race type messages; he failed understanding himself, as Bush failed to understand the historical web of intrigue in the Mideast, each to be sufficiently intellectually curious about relevant historical facts.

When Barack, sometime during his coming of age, consciously chose to be “Black” rather than try to be “White”, admittedly a tougher choice due to accumulated white racism. No different in effect than accumulated black racism, each just took and has a different historical journey. Like you and me, we each have had a different personal historical journey.

By definition Barack’s Choice was and continues to be a Faux Racist action, his choosing Black or White as his social and “racial” identification. And his politics are informed by that choice, not any sort of “glastnost”.

Seems “racist” to me, just as if he had chosen to be White. By my definition a perfect example of a pure “Faux Racist” action by a real Faux Racist President.

Can’t we all just stop it and move on to productive industries? Gonna check with Rodney King on this one.
