Arch Partisan David Letterman As unfunny As Rubber Crutch.
Late Show” host David Letterman blasted John McCain’s decision to cancel an appearance on his talk show Wednesday night saying, among other things, “This is not the way a tested hero behaves. Somebody’s putting something in his Metamucil.” McCain’s camp said it was not a time for comedy having announced he was suspending his campaign until the current financial crisis in resolved. Letterman later asked: “Are we suspending it because there’s an economic crisis or because the poll numbers are sliding?”
Letterman is the most partisan of the late night TV show hosts has been losing the rating wars and is under increasing pressure. Letterman trails Craig Ferguson who follows his show while Jay Leno continues to be in first place above all others.

And Keith Olbermann was on Letterman to replace McCain??? Transparent move from the worldwide pants folks.

Know what, guys? This is all about character, and John McCain has NONE. He was supposed to be on a plane back to D.C. to save the nation. He lied, and he’s been doing nothing but telling half-truths and lies throughout this whole campaign.
And this canceling the debate thing? Why? There have been many crises in America in the past and debates have gone on: The USS Cole was one incident and the Iranian hostage crisis was another. This was an absurd attempt by John McCain to ingratiate himself with the voters. President Bush basically saved his butt by inviting him to the White House because, guess what, he isn’t on any of the committees working on this plan so he can’t participate. Talk about hypocritical and transparent!
This is not the guy I want leading in a crisis. He can’t handle much of anything without overreacting.

In 1996 Bill Clinton postponed a presidential debate saying he needed more time to prepare. The debates will happen. But, three moderated ones are not enough. Obama ducked townhall meetings, and should not have. John McCain is a man of great good character and to suggest otherwise is absurd.

John McCain did exactly as he should do: suspend his campaign and the Friday night debate, and put first and foremost his duty to his country. John McCain offers leadership; that’s one quality Barack Hussein Obama lacks.
And, John McCain has the necessary experience and knowledge to get both parties to work together.
How many times has BHO crossed the Democrat leadership, crossed the party line to work across the aisle? Once, since his nomination, in an attempt to move towards the ‘center’. Ha!
BHO has the most leftist, liberal voting record in the Senate; he never crosses Howard Dean. BHO is pure socialist, and works only to further his own agenda, and the Alinsky Narrative. BHO is a talking telephone pole, a tool of Saul Alinsky.
BHO can’t contribute a thing towards helping ease this crisis. All of that is well above his pay grade.

You’ve got to be kidding me. John McCain didn’t suspend his campaign. That was a lie. He didn’t rush back to Washington either. He stood up David Letterman and went on with Katie Couric instead. The next morning he was still in New York on television. He’s a liar. He put himself first, not this country.
And “suspending” a campaign means everything stops. It didn’t. The attack ads went on as scheduled, and then is little minions spent the day on television touting their maverick. That doesn’t sound like a suspension to me.
Let’s get real here. He’s not a leader and George Will is right: He’s not presidential material. His decision-making is suspect with the choice of Sarah Palin, who is unqualified for the job and ill-equipped to even speak the English language in a coherent fashion.
He’s a Drama Queen — first with suspending the convention because of a hurricane; then choosing Palin; then being so stupid as to call for the firing of the SEC Chairman over the Wall Street debacle; then suspending his campaign so he can return to Washington to disrupt whatever meetings were going on. His own party didn’t want him there.
Think about it. If you care about this country, you’re not voting for McCain.

All hypocrites can put McCain down along with Sarah Palin, but come Nov. when they are elected, then the entire world will see what a team they really make. Yes, those of you who continually try to get everyone to see that your opinions are the only ones that matter concerning this election, that you are so accurate in your assumptions about McCain/Palin, will finally see that they are the best choice, and most beneficial to the United States as leaders and as a team. We need unity in this nation, not division. We all need to be in one accord. One more thing, before any of us decide to attack other people’s character, we need to be taking one good long hard look at our own.

Arguing with the foolish is itself a greater foolishness.

Obama’s attempt to crush free speech in Missouri should have everyone, irregardless of party, up in arms.
Obama’s National Journal - Composite Liberal Score is 95.5 for 2007 (the highest rating I saw on the chart); the NRA Institute for Legislative Action (our PAC) gives Senator Obama an F.
That’s all I need to know. That, and Reverend Wright, Saul Alinsky, Ayers, Rezco; those associations are worrisome. Obama is not ready to lead, and given his lack of qualifications and an unending list of questionable association, he will never lead conservative Americans.
Obama is wrong for America. Sure, he’ll win the large cities (the overpopulation centers) that Democrats always ply with free handouts and promises of easy, stress-free lives. OPiuM (Other People’s Money), the Democrat’s drug of choice for what’s becoming a hedonistic, hand-me society of left-leaning sorts who would not be recognizable to the founding fathers, or to the Americans who pulled together to fight and win WWII.
We’re setting up for a fall. And guess what? Those of us who are not so much dependent on ease and comfort, those who do not seek only the easy life, are much better suited to adapt to a more austere existence.
Liberals, Leftists, good luck with that.
