Ruling Oligarcists Please Register Here

After reading the OpEdNew piece about the Ruling Oligarchs and The FixIs this by Jesus Michael Moore? being in for John McCain to be our next president, it occurred to me that not only am I not able to claim to know the names of the Ruling Olgarchy,

I do not know where to send my eCards at Christmas time.

So, Oligarchs unite, and one by one, come out of the shadows and tell us a little about your selves. I think the public may have an unusually dark opinion of you since no one know who you are except that George Soros and Warren Buffet are Mavericks and presumably operate on a Democratic plan, one so far superior to the Republican plan as to remove any meaning from the billions uses for their investments or speculations in markets, other business requirements, their politics, their tax planning and the political preferences, a far cry from the real oligarchs.

Tell us your favorite fake name, location and email address. We appreciate your participation we think a lot of social good can come of it. Oh, yeah and please state your political preferences so we can catalog you properly. The Democratic Oligarchs are lonely, what with the the various types of wall street tycoons, many website owners, rock stars, actors, authors, producers not included.

  1. Democracy and oligarchy. Democracy in its pure form certainly condemned Greece.Too many distractions with every single citizen voting on every issue–dog leash laws to the conduct of war.

Dictatorship, the only effective government other than oligarchy has only been good for the life of the dictator–or as we say in Russia–cult of personality[also why Brezhnev did not qualify--no personality!].You have to be a Russian to appreciate the negative charm of such a system.

Since only a few have the intellect-not too little,or too much–for effective rule, oligarchy wins even if called a republic, which is code for rule of the few, but elected by the many.

Churchill said that democracy was the worst form of government, except for all the rest. But he really meant oligarchy, as he certainly was an oligarch. Xenophon, another long discussion of a predecessor of the more successful Alexander–not an oligarch.
