is he tipping over?VANITY (UN)FAIR magazine’s writer and national editor Todd Purdum is a slimy, sleazy, scumbag if you believe the Huffington Post’s view of former President Bill Clinton about a VANITY FAIR ARTICLE published this week accusing him of a continuing pattern of the most unsavory behavior. Referring to Clinton as the corpse at every funeral and groom at every wedding and head of a “post-presidential rat” pack and a man consumed by his own self-worth, and “cavernous narcissism” writer Todd Purdum waste little praise on Clinton. Rather Purdum describes how since his administration ended in a raft of suspect pardons Clinton has struggled to resurrect his reputation while continue his aberrant behavior. Much attention and criticism has been devoted to the Clinton’s still secret foundation and library donor lists raising issues of commingled funds some of which could have oozed into Hillary’s debt plagued campaign at least by making other funds more easily available.

Much of the story catalog’s the array of “unpresidential” people and bimbos Clinton choses to associate with. Purdum infers how some say Clinton changed after his 2004 open heart surgery when his heart was stopped for 73 minutes and subsequent surgeries six months later for complication.

Be that as it may the article calls his campaign efforts for wife Hillary as so maladroit as to constitute political malpractice. It will be debated for decades and longer whether Bill Clinton’s ham-fistedness irreparably damaged Hillary’s campaign. It might have been that damning view that set the former President off perhaps because it cut to close to the bone. Or it may have been his being elbowed out as the Democrat’s idea of a Messiah by an upstart Senator from Illinois.
