Why is Carter Crapping on Israel?

Former President Jimmy Carter is being charged with irresponsibility by Israel after he revealed privileged, sensitive information saying it has 150 nuclear weapons in its stockpile, a fact that has never been admitted by Israel and fuels enemies like Iran’s rationale for building “atomic bombs.”
This continues a pattern of growing antagonism toward Israel by Carter. This may be explained by the largess showered on him by Israeli’s Middle Eastern adversaries. Many speculate Carter remains miffed because he has not been, at least in his mind, appropriately venerated for his Middle East peace efforts.
Carter’s statement coincides with further UN disclosure of increased concerns that Iran has indeed tried to make a nuclear weapon, and systematically hide facts from the U.N.’s International Atomic Energy Administration (IAEA) adding concerns his comment was intentionally designed to lessen the reports impact on Iran and harm Israel.

I think Mr. Carter has gotten carried away with his own image, Richard. After a failed presidency, where he did to the Democrats what George Bush has done to the Republicans, he reinvented himself as a secular saint. His holiness is displeased that the Israelis haven’t taken his noble advice and committed suicide for the sake of peace in the world. Thus rejecting the Wisdom of the Ages, Jimmy excommunicates that nation from the ranks of the righteous. And really, how far from his southern redneck roots does the Jimster have to go to find a deep well of not-so-genteel antisemitism?
I, for one, have sent my last shekel to Habitat for Humanity.

Snark Twain - Had Carter acted decisively on Iran or Clinton arrested OBL when Sudan twice offered him up little of the current Middle East brouhaha would exist today. Now Carter wants to finish the job and contribute to the destruction of Israel and all remaining USA interest there. Carter’s sainthood should end and soon on a political pyre.
