About the Author

I started this two years ago. I was tired of everyone being forced to be politically correct and so I wanted to have a blog to fight that. I never thought that my alter-ego, Politically Correct Fugitive, would become so important, to me, at least. I am saddened, enraged, frustrated and most of all determined to stand up for what I see is right. Thanks to this blog I feel as if I truly do have a voice. I cann now stand up for what I believe in, point out something if I believe it to be wrong and most of all to challenge something or someone if I feel they are on the wrong course and will hurt America.

A Wright Update

What did he say?I am sure a lot of people are congratulating Obama on his denunciation of Jeremiah Wright even though it took him more than 24 hours to do so. But before he tries to finally put this to rest there are still a few disturbing questions that have gone unanswered.

What about all those people applauding and cheering Rev. Wright when he gave his speech at the National Press Club? What will they do now that Obama has renounced Wright? And how will the congregation react now that their church is torn between their former pastor and Obama? What about Farrakhan and all of his followers, including the men now guarding Rev. Wright? Since Obama has also denounced Farrakhan what will these members of the Nation of Islam do now? And how can the Senator truly reconcile his denunciations with the fact that he had been a part of Farrakhan’s Million Man March and that his book was named after a sermon by Rev. Wright?

Most of all, I can’t help but ask why the change of heart when just a day ago Senator Obama was defending Wright for his earlier hate filled statements? Perhaps it is because in his latest speech Wright betrayed Obama when he said that the Senator is a politician who would say whatever was needed to get elected. Hmmmm. You don’t suppose maybe Obama is now being a politician and only dumping Wright because of the strong public reaction against him? It certainly makes you wonder if on this statement maybe the Rev. Wright is right….

  1. Rev. Wright is truly the gift that keeps on giving. He gave a speech talking about how black brains and white brains were different and cited research to “prove it.” That is simply hogwash and in fact offensive.

  2. It’s not fayer, but there are Two Black Churches in America, one for the winning Democratic nominee and the other for the losing Democratic nominee. I will announce which one I will join soon, probably in June, worst case in August. I do want a job but that New York Times article is BS. (“He doesn’t want to pick the loser,” the aide said.)

Besides, no one has offered my jet skis yet.

  3. I most certainly can agree w/you on this subject.
Rev. Wright and his message/baggage is not a good example for future americans. I must add that my vote has changed from Obama based on his association with Rev. Wright’s failure to rise above his personal anger. Rev. Wright with his biblical knowledge and wisdom has missed the mark when he didn’t represent himself as a winner amongst all men.
