Don’t people understand that if we elect a commander and chief that wants to pull all of the troops out of Iraq it will be a huge mistake. Millions of people were killed in Cambodia as soon as we left Vietnam. Don’t people learn from history. We still have troops in Japan, Korea, Germany, and many other places. Why is there a huge movement to pull troops out of Iraq.
Iraq has joined the US. to fight the Taliban and it’s working great since the troop surge. Yet everyone in America plays the role that Bush is an idiot and they know military strategy better than our military experts. How arrogant is it to think that the average person, who has never been to Iraq, never lived by rule of a dictator, has no idea of Muslim / Iraq culture or history intertwined with the US. can think that they know what is best for Iraq.
In my opinion, pulling troops out of Iraq is subjecting torture and murder upon millions of Iraq citizens. In my opinion, anybody that wants to pull troops out of Iraq needs to study the history of the Vietnam war.
Yes, I am just an American who is forming opinions just like anti war protesters too. However, I am aware that we pulled our troops out of Vietnam and millions of people were killed because of that mistake. Now the people want to do it again.
I believe there has been less terrorist attacks on US. interests, other than in Iraq, then during the Clinton administration.
How can people assume that we aren’t safer. The Taliban is being forced out of Pakistan by the Pakistan people. The Iraq people have joined forces with the US. to destroy the Taliban. The middle east is starting to become more democratic where people can make money to escape poverty.
I don’t get it. Say NO TO OBAMA……………

He sounds sincere, just not on the things I’m concerned about. What does he mean by change? This world will never be a “utopia”! Are people considered war mongers because they see the ugliness that some of our fellow humans are capable of at any time, and try to do something about it? The world we live in has never been a place where GOOD PEOPLE CAN SIT BACK AND DO NOTHING, nor should they!! Maybe it’s just too sad for some to admit that freedom has always been faught for. You know, even in our own families there are those who just can’t find their way and make plenty of poor choices,maybe even loose so much control that they start to injure themselves and anyone who gets in their way. Do we as family members just sit back and keep trying to talk since to them over and over again and let them live in our homes taking no action??? Sometimes doing the right thing is an extremely hard stand to take. If we want to be a healthy nation, we can’t be CO-DEPENDENT!!!

No. If he has his way he will destroy the 2nd Amendment. He’ll socialize healthcare. He will undoubtedly increase entitlements. I’m no fan of unions…the fact that they support him troubles me. Ok..after reviewing his site I can say that he wants to give the federal government yet more power and oversight over things that are not the constitutional prerogative of the government. Can’t do it. Can we just get a candidate who will truly support the Constitution and the Bill of Rights? Please?

No, I don’t get either. America is in love with Obama simply because he is what???? He claimed oppostion to the war when he had nothing to lose (he was not in the U S Senate). Obama has no record of real legislative success either in the U.S. Senate or in Illnois.
Hillary has fought many of the tough battles in our behalf, health care, womens issues, supported union issues, fought for blacks and latinos,and has all the political scares to show for her effort. Stood by her husband when she could have easily walked away. These are are values that we should admire from our leaders. Simply because she voted to support our president after 9/11 (Obama was not in the U S Senate at the time to have to make that tough decision), she is held to a different standard. All of you who have left Hillary to support Obama simply because he is the flavor of the year, I hold all of you in complete contempt!!! A verbal message of undefined hope and untested metal under fire offered by Mr.Obama is not nearly enough for me. Give me the scares and blemishes of a battle tested Hillary as president over the unknown new kid on the block rookie Obama!!! McCain and those who support him will make Mr. Obama out to the insignificant inexperinced rookie that he is and not worthy of holding the office of president.

His major supporters and contributors are the same as McCain and Clinton. These banks and law firms have major clients with a major interest in controlling oil supplies and price fixing or profiting in oil futures. If any of these candidates would support a major task force the size of the Iraq task force to make this country energy efficient, they would look somewhat concerned about solving our economic and social issues. Were in for four more years of the same. Good Luck.
