Richard Cochrane is trained in chemistry and metallurgy but is far more interested and practiced as a political and fund raising consultant, writer and amateur historian. He grew up in a Navy family and with his two younger brothers carried on its 500+ year tradition of naval service to Great Britain and the USA then enjoyed a career with one of the largest advertising and public relations agencies working with numerous Fortune 500 companies and many of America's premier educational institutions. He maintains friendships and acquaintanceships around the world. He lives in Santa Barbara, California.

She Found Her Vioice In New Hamnpshire

Mary Pickford found her voice tooLive Free of DieHillary Clinton’s “crying jag” in New Hampshire turned out to be an anti-Ed Muskie-like moment. Frank Luntz says his focus groups were with her until she sniffed back the tears and attacked Obama and then she lost their support as calculating and disingenuous. But, most media coverage did NOT include the latter and the incident helped her. She was clearly frustrated and that frustration is borne by her Joan-of-Arc conviction she is divinely correct, and only she can see the future where she is enthroned. Such is her troubling megalomaniacal conviction. Nevertheless to argue tears didn’t help her would be foolish – because empathetic women responded and gave her the win. But, it will not work again.
