Rock, Rocks Clinton

Rock for Change!Chris Rock cracked up the audience at his New Year’s Eve show with a few quips about Hillary Clinton. “I think America’s ready for a woman president . . . just not that woman,” Rock told the crowd at New York’s Madison Square Garden.

“Being married to somebody doesn’t make you good at their job. I’ve been with my wife 10 years now. If she got up here right now, y’all wouldn’t laugh. At all. You get on a plane tomorrow, you want the pilot’s wife flying you?”

He also had a dig for Rudy Giuliani: “Everyone says Giuliani was great on 9/11. Great on 9/11 . . . What about 9/10?”

How many Congressmen does it take to change a light bulb – 400. That’s how many voted to “ban the bulb” and forbid the ubiquitous .50 cent incandescent bulb in favor of a $3 “energy efficient” light bulb that British medicine now accuses of causing adverse health effects and environmentalist worry about adding scores of tons of mercury into the envirorment each year when then new bulbs are discarded.

Skeptics remind that in 1992 Congress banned the 3.5 gallon toilet in favor of a 1.6 gallon flusher that did not do the job unless you flushed it 2-3 times using even more water. Remember, when light bulbs are banned only criminals will have light bulbs.
